Nicola Jane Goes Pink For Breast Cancer Care

On Friday 28th October the Nicola Jane team had a pink make over in aid of Breast Cancer Care, raising £30 for the charity.

Amy's Chocolate Cream Cake - Yummy!

Yummy pink homemade cakes and sweets filled the office - we managed to get a couple of photos before the goodies were scoffed!  In the Nicola Jane bake off there was stiff competition from Amy's chocolate cream cake, Jakki's fairy cakes, Julita's Lemon cake and our cake expert Anita's bright pink Victoria sponge! 

Dressed in pink from head to toe the whole Nicola Jane team made a special effort to dress in pink for the day and the winner’s medal must go to Jakki for best pink lady outfit!

The money that we have rasied goes to Breast Cancer Care which is an independent charity reliant on voluntary donations from individuals and organisations to fund it's vital services.

How money raised helps:

£2 pays for a headscarf set, helping to boost the confidence of a woman who has lost her hair as a result of her breast cancer treatment.

£52 pays for a personal appointment with our HeadStrong service to help women cope with the distress of hair loss as a result of cancer treatment. As well as practical advice and information, women have the chance to try scarves and hats and find something which suits them.
